History
The East Barge Slip was used to ship sections of the Liberty oil rig fabricated at Columbia Business Center. The drilling rig was shipped by barge to Alaska in the summer of 2009.
Water Highway
River access facilitates the movement of products of great sizes, providing access to inventory which may be too large to ship by truck or rail.
You ship
You experience no red tape or interference while using our on-site barge slips. CBC's slips are private and because of that, retain a "do-it-yourself" nature.
Good Capacity
Two barge slips accomodate river and ocean-going vessels up to 400 feet. Outside storage capacity near the barge slips allows for staging and storage, making your projects easier to manage.
Prior to using the West or East slips, the following information is required: (subject to availability): Company name, date of use, vessel name, vessel owner, load out, a fully executed Moorage Agreement, Insurance certificates, and security deposit check.
